PE
The Physical Education curriculum at The Compass School is designed to support pupils’ social, emotional and mental wellbeing alongside their physical development.
Through structured, inclusive physical activity, pupils develop the physical literacy, self-regulation strategies and interpersonal skills necessary to engage positively in learning and everyday life.
Our curriculum prioritises positive experiences of movement, enabling pupils to experience success, build confidence and develop resilience.
Pupils are taught how physical activity contributes to emotional regulation, personal health and long-term wellbeing, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to lead healthy, active and fulfilling lives beyond school.
