Welcome to The Compass School.

We are delighted and proud to have opened our doors to welcome our founding cohort of pupils and the founding staff team. 

As a small school for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, we provide a broad and balanced curriculum, alongside bespoke support for our pupils’ mental health and wellbeing and help for pupils to understand themselves and their emotions.

This support is woven into our school day through our trauma-informed approach to working with our pupils.

We are growing over the coming years and will have a primary phase (Key Stage Two) and a secondary phase for pupils in Key Stage Three (11-14) and Key Stage Four (14-16). Currently we have 24 places for pupils at Key Stage Three. We will have 60 pupils once we are fully open in 2024-25.
