Citizenship
Our Citizenship curriculum aims to empower students to understand the society they live in, recognise their rights and responsibilities, and develop the confidence to participate as informed, thoughtful and active citizens.
We provide a highly structured, supportive learning environment that enables SEMH learners to explore complex ideas such as identity, democracy, justice and community in an accessible and meaningful way.
Through clear routines, practical activities and real‑world examples, students build essential skills in communication, empathy, critical thinking and decision‑making.
Our intent is to help every learner feel valued, capable and connected—to their community, to their learning, and to their future—so that they leave school equipped with the knowledge, resilience and social understanding needed to thrive in modern Britain.
